And no, he didn't destabilize the leg. He destroyed the structure controls. Which is why you don't see the thing on and kicking, just a huge scrap of metal in the last panel. Whereas, if it was active, you would have known it, because the hole in the middle of the dome would be activaed.

The idea that losing a leg would not make a big a difference shows a series lack of understanding in even the most basic physics. 😬If you look at the panel again, it becomes clear that Mace hit it more than once. If he could just TK, he wouldn't have needed to bother.
Yeah, that was a mistake. It is irrelevant though.
He didn't hit the leg. He just destroyed the machine itself, by deactivating/frying its mains. I mean, it is plain as day that he didn't strike at the legs, because they are just beside him in the panel.
As for destroying the machine, probably because simply Tk'ing it wouldn't destroy it. Bringing it to the ground or pushing it along the ground wouldn't do anything to it, in all probability. He would still have to destroy its mains to deactivate it. He just did it in another sequence, destroy/deactivate the machine functioning first, and then Tk it.

Roughly how big is that object?
