He's far too many ways to win. Blasting them, opening a black hole in their head/heart, weakness exploit, transmuting etc. Plenty of ways to win.

People always talk about forum Flash or forum Spider-Man, and how they’d be absolute beasts.

Forum SS simply has too many ways to win. Obviously, if it is all about fisticuffs then the Super team can win (in the same way the Hulk can win against characters he has no business messing with if it is all about standing and trading punches).

But all lit ...SS has a very potent mix of outright power and crazy versality.

Surfer suddenly becomes this genetic manipulator even though in the majority of his fights, he doesn't do so. But only seems to do so with DC opponents; in fights with Hulks, he's back to blasting/energy manip, and fisticuffs.
