Spirit sword didn't exist in the manga.

Going by the anime, I'd guess Trunks sweeps both.

The anime is Canon which means Frieza kills trunks.

How do you figure? Trunks took fused Zamasu, something neither Goku nor Vegeta could accomplish.

Trunks > fused Zamsu > SSJ Blue Goku = Golden Freeza.
