tbh not sure what bl's range actually is. pretty sure its well short of scott's though. bl is quick as phukc but i don't see him closing the gap before scott takes him out. too much distance to cover and one solid blast would def end it.

Lightening can be shot pretty far.

If Black Lightning is serious, he destroys Cyclops.

I could post an OML blast, and it would be just as irrelevant to the fight.

Black Lightning has shields for that. Black Lightning is a bit more versatile than Scott.

I never disputed either of those. Just that he's unlikely to use that super attack from that stupid run.

I wonder which average attack is more powerful; the lightning attack or Scott's beams.

Black Lightning doesn't have to necesarily tank it, when he can just absorb Cyclops' blasts and throw back the energy. People seem to forget that Black Lightning is not just lightning thrower, he is basically Magneto-lite.

Plus, Black Lightning is pretty strong and fast, a single punch from him would knock Scott's head right off. For example his shields have tanked blasts from Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, so even if Scott's attacks hit him, they would hardly cause any harm.
