i disagree that it was misleading at all. the headline and segment suggested that the article was a study of the ar-15 and all it's capabilities and possible attachments, not the actual weapon used by the killer.

Indeed, but unfortunately some imbeciles in this country take what he says seriously. On top of that, ever since the last election late night tv hosts have been blurring the line between mere comedian and political commentator.
