Really, really good ep. 😄

Hilariously bad episode tbh. Incredibly stupid, but fun to laugh at.

I've watched the first two episodes of this so far. I really am enjoying it just for the creature effects, set pieces, cinematography, etc. It's beautifully done. It makes up a lot for the thin story so far.

Maybe it's jumping the gun, but I feel like this is probably the best Star Wars release so far since Disney took over. I know that's a pretty low bar, but still..

It feels more like Star Wars than the ST films do, that's for sure. 👆

But like you said, that's not saying much lol.

Last episode was my least favorite.

The new characters pretty much annoyed me, mostly the two Twi'leks, just awful performances through and through. Bill Burr's character had a funny line at the start (about Storm Troopers and aim), but then it was a meh-show.

I enjoyed the Mandalorian picking them off one by one, the fact that they annoyed me actually made it that much more satisfying for me

I like JJ’s bold new direction of re-sodomising Luke Skywalker and Star Wars in general.

At least we can still watch The Mandalorian and give our money to Kathleen Kennedy in the process, so she can use our money to make more shitty movies about Rey and Rose Tico.

The writing was so by the numbers and generic it was hilarious, and the performances ridiculously cheesy and impossible to take seriously. The characters were laughably one-dimensional and pointlessly antagonistic from the get-go.

I watched the 3rd episode of this. It's still pretty fun.

Is this show supposed to intertwine with Episode 9 at all (since it comes out soon)? I wonder if he will cross paths with somebody in Episode 9 or something.

Well the next episode of the show comes out tomorrow(just ahead of the film), so some people were speculating that it was being released early because it will somehow tie-into Ep.IX.

Personally, I think it's only being released early because Disney doesn't want two SW releases dropping on the same day.

Only two more to go, hopefully we get some back story and development on the main character and the baby, otherwise this show while fun, is a video game and he's just leveling each show.

I am enjoying the show quite a bit, but by the end of this season I would definitely like it to be pointed in a specific direction, with *some* sort of hard plot unfolding.

Mando hopping to a new world every episode and fighting some randoms is eventually going to lose its luster.

The formula has started to lose its shine with the last ep, that was the worst ep imo. Even if the "world" was a large ship this time. If the last two eps are more of the same, the show's not going to end better than it started.

We need a bit more backstory/character development for Mando, his man of few words, but with a heart of gold is getting thin without some more support and we need some backstory on the baby, who, why and what. Who the baby is, why is he so important, what was the Empire's (faction) end-game for him. We're talking 3-4 mins of precise montages for each, it cane be done.

Isn't there still a couple episodes left? Maybe they will be the big reveals..

There's two left

That’s to bad , the season is to short

I wonder if the second season will be longer.

It's a fun show. At first I thought it was a little strange how there isn't like one big major dramatic arc that it's following, but now I kind of prefer how each episode is both kind of serialized and also nearly stand alone. It's basically just about Mando doing things and it's a nice break from the super high stakes the-universe-is-doomed-unless-we-stop-it stories from the movies.

Also the budget is unreal. The show looks so good.

Very good and interesting episode.
Should please the "Why are the episodes episodic and not advancing the story" complainers.
D. Chow has had arguably the best episodes.

Possibly the best episode yet, imo.

I was not expecting that ending at all.

I love this show even if if doesn’t always follow the main arc, I love the world building it does and the different planets and people we get to see. This last episode was probably the best so far and it really goes to show how pivotal the Child is to whatever the remnant is planning.
