I have no issue with abortion, at least within the first few months. But you have to realize a lot of conservatives are religious, they see it as murder. That doesn't make it right and of course their religion is horrible, but the abortion thing is not done out of any sort of malice.
I disagree with them on weed. Have no problem with people being gay. You are yelling at all these things while at the same time belonging to a side that gets upset over someone using the wrong pronoun lol.
I also never said anything about trans people in terms of allowing them to be that way. If a guy wants to dress up as a woman and call himself a woman he is free to do that. The only thing I don't want allowed is the government paying for their surgeries.
Think of other kinds of creepy people, like the type who get plastic surgery so they have more "feline" features, etc. Those people are also mentally ill. But they are free to spend their own money to get that procedure and even call themselves a cat if they want. I will not call them a cat though.
Louis CK admits to sexual misconduct
Louis C.K. on Friday released a statement in response to a report published Thursday in The New York Times about several women who stepped forward to discuss experiences with him in which he committed acts of sexual misconduct. In his statement, Louis C.K. said, “These stories are true.”
The article includes the full statement that Louis CK released apologizing for the acts.
This is a bummer tbh. No more Louis CK projects most likely.
I do not particularly care for this comedian, but I could not care less about the nature of these allegations.
A sexual proposition, in and of itself, does not constitute harassment. If someone persists despite the proposition being rejected, that is harassment. If it involves physical contact, that is assault.
But if someone asks my permission to masturbate in my presence, and I do not say, "No," I was not harassed. Especially, if I did not immediately leave, but stayed and watched.
Some may object that I may have been too afraid to say, "No," or to leave. However, other people are not responsible for my feelings, and my inability to advocate for myself does not make someone else a victimizer.
If I choose to go along with something, and regret that choice after-the-fact, I commit to making a different choice in the future. I do not retroactively decide I was victimized.
I am growing tired of this kindergarten culture that infantilizes women and treats them as if they have no agency. His propositions were crude, but transgressing your sensibilities is not a crime.
This has been a long time coming. A couple weeks ago my friends and i were talking about the hollywood stuff, and he was like "So who do you guys think will be next?" And I said Louis CK because these rumors have been out there about him for years.
That said I'm not convinced this will be quite as career ending for him as Spacey's and Weinstein's were. CK's aren't nearly as bad, and by admitting to it like he is he's handling it about as well as he can. I think he'll probably be back in 5 years or so.

The difference is that Weinstein allegedly used his influence to coerce and silence people. And to be fair, that does not appear to be the case with either C.K. or Spacey.
C.K. appears to have leveraged his notoriety to gain access to people to whom he would otherwise not have access, i.e. people who are younger and/or more attractive than he.
Spacey, on the other hand, allegedly had sexual contact with people who are underage, which is an entirely different issue.
All of the conduct alleged above is sexual in nature, but there is a tremendous difference between, "Have sex with me, I am a celebrity," and "If you tell anyone, you will never work in this town again," which is why they will be weighed differently in the court of public opinion.
