Fin Fang Foom vs. Godzilla (Marvel)

I agree with Leo. I love Godzilla but his showings in the Marvel series were mediocre at best. Fing Fang Foom has jobbed worse though, assuming he's at the top of his abilities it should be his fight to lose.

Godzilla's showings:

1. A helicarrier survived his nuclear blast without a scratch.

2. When shrunk down, devil dinosaur gave him a good fight. And he's just a red dinosaur.

3. An obvious "King Kong" clone nearly killed her.

4.. Red Ronin, a giant mecha piloted by a 10 year kid, killed King Kong and had Godzilla on the ropes (The kid was protective towards Godzilla and doing his level best to avoid killing her. No love for Kong though. 😂 )

i told myself since i loved gz i wasn't gonna low ball....that red ronin fight was...not good for him though. and there were other less than stellar showings. 👆

I know, but afaik there is no others of his species. There's been other Godzilla's, but never walking around at the same time. Only one that egg could have come from, is Godzilla.

But even if the narration makes it explicit that there's no way that egg was laid by that monster, that just means we don't know Godzilla's gender, as apparently this is one of those unanswered questions that even Haruo Nakajima had no idea about.

Godzilla has a demonstrated a great memory, so no.

We do know Godzilla's gender because directors have consistently referred to him as nothing but male for every decade that he has existed. Haruo Nakajima was just the suit actor for several Godzilla movies starting from the first, a great man but not an authority. I've posted a link before debunking this myth using toho's own words as a source, I'll have to dig it up once more.

That 1998 Godzilla movie confused people, because that one could reproduce asexually. But 1) that one was not a godzilla, it was retconned into something else because everyone hated it, and 2) that thing was still explicitly a male. It was said to be a male with an unusual ability. Probably because of the radiation. Remember that it was just a giant irradiated male marine iguana.

This isn't some big mystery. Tumblr probably wants you to think it is, but it isn't.

Devil has some feats that place him beyond regular dinosaur level, he has durability showings that would kill any actual animal of his size.

lol devil has some coolness. i wouldn't place this version of godzilla beyond high meta tbh, at least in general. when i used a composite version--MUCH more powerful than this marvel version--it was agreed that he was low herald. and of course digi beat me with he-man in one of the most epic-est bz's of all time.... stupid he-man... sneer
