I was being unironic. When people get freedom, they turn into the modern American left and right. When under a strong ruler like a King or Dictator, men are tougher, more masculine because they don't have stupid freedoms to go out and get smashed at a bar or eat infinite cheeseburgers until they die. No one can take freedom of thought away, but freeze-peach is a stupid libertarian issue.
