Not the type of movie I'd see in theater, but I've heard good things from trusted sources and I plan on watching when it hits video.'Call Me By Your Name' and 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri' are also in that category.
Not a bad film from what I watched, but I could not get into this and I stopped about 40ish min in. My wife loved it though. Might give it another go around in a few months, maybe I just didn't have the mindset at the time.
She also said the daughter-mother dynamic was key here, something I can't obviously relate to personally.
