Okay, so 50% of the video's premise has been established. I give up the gratefulness index. That's just too hard to qualify and self-reports would probably be rubbish.

So I cannot really disapprove the video's point but they cannot prove their point about Americans being less grateful. So...there's nothing to talk about?

There is also the issue of when you ask different People in Different Cultures if they are "HAPPY" that can mean different things.

Anyone have the other half that supports or refutes the ungratefulness piece? I mean, if it says "unhappy people are always ungrateful", that's perfect. I could not find research that either supported or denied that point.

I'm unhappy because I'm so sick and tired of winning. Trump said we would win, but this is way more than I could have ever imagined it would be like.

Bingo, this is what fans of these "talking heads" don't get. The opinion of a talking head has no greater veracity than anybody else's unless they have facts and evidence to back up what they are saying. Which they never do, they only have an interpretation that fits their world view
