You never knew? It was posted here on KMC once, but digging it out may take some time... Slott (if that forum and posters were indeed genuine) seemed to completely ignore/miss the question.

Poster specifically asked if QS was faster than light, as that feat pretty much meant that.

I actually think Northstar (and his sister) were/are the coolest members of Alpha Flight. As to Northstar vs Quicksilver in terms of speed, I'm almost 100% positive that Northstar would destroy QS in a race.

On panel even in the mid 80s he hit Mach 10. This was a speed QS couldn't dream of matching until an entire decade later when he got a power up.

Never understood the hate for Alpha Flight. Big reason why I did all those respect threads I guess. Their not even in my top 10 favorite characters but they do deserve far more due
