Russia being Russia again..

Polish historian expelled from Russia for giving lectures of some of their crimes in the 20th century.

Russia is incredibly uncomfortable and insecure about its past(and frankly, present). It doesn't help that Putin has been encouraging pro-Soviet sentiment for a while now.

Countries don't seem to like to be reminded of past atrocities. It was kind of taboo to bring up the Nazi days in Germany or the occupation of Shanghai in Japan from my experience. Being expelled is a bit much though.

Hell a video on youtube of a guy discussing all the f*cked up shit the Japanese did during WW2 got removed lol. He wasn't insulting them or anything, he was merely providing facts.

Yeah. The Japanese in WWII did stuff that even made the Nazis squeamish, but then we aint supposed to talk about that stuff...

Yep, it's why Japan is ever so happy to have America as it's guardian, otherwise the PRC would likely roll over Japan as there's still much resentment from the Chinese towards Japan for their deplorable actions in Manchuria and some other parts during WWII to this day. "The North Remembers" is fitting, here.

Look at all that money we wasted on murder machines that would could have spent on saving American lives through better healthcare, education, and welfare.

^I wish for that too, but we sat back in WW1 and WW2 and watched it get worse and worse, we were finally brought into both of them and we spent more doing that then going ahead and stopping Japan, Germany and Italy when they started their invasions. If we stopped Hitler when he sent his troops back into Rhineland, he would have never been able to expand his power into Austria.
