Takamura tanks it, though not without damage if we're being realistic. There's a fight Takamura has later on (from where you're at) where the other world champion boxer manages to land a full blown haymaker to his head multiple times with Takamura being caught off guard each and every time. And although these punches really f-ck him up worst than any other fight in the manga and damn near knock him out, it wasn't enough to knock him out. So I think he can tank Ippo's best shot completely open, though not without being rattled. He'd shake it off and then proceed to lay Ippo out cold.
