it is because the dceu makes me want to hate... I do not want to .. I love Batman, I love Wonder Woman.. I have been reading comic books since I was 4 years old.. If they ever get the right people involved then maybe the dceu will be good
DC really does seem to fail lately. They do try, they really do...they just can't really seem to do anything but a good Batman movie. The films usually aren't terrible, but they kinda are when compared to Marvel movies.
If only they could get the people who did the DCAU to do some live action movies. They actually know how to write some of these characters.
Oh as to the fight, yeah, Steppenwolf crushes Ares.

Yes, I was referring to the entire DC animated universe that was on tv. So that includes: Batman TAS, Superman TAS, JL, JLU, Batman Beyond, Static Shock. Oh and that show about the robot is in the same universe as well, it was a spin off from Batman Beyond.
There were some DCAU films though technically. Some great Batman ones. Also the Batman Beyond movie "Return of the Joker" is excellent. I have the original uncut version.

lol and now I can quote you. But yeah, in general, DC's animated stuff (both shows and films) are pretty good.
To be fair some of the movies from the new DC animated universe are of good quality. The Red Hood movie is good. I enjoyed the movies based in the NuDCU as well. I liked Justice League Dark as well as the Teen Titans Judas Contract movies.
It is possible some of the writers from the DCAU have worked on some of the movies in the new animated universe.
I do like how they will take chances on "What If" stories too. All Star Superman was one. Also the JL movie where they are kinda evil at first, or rather they kill, and Batman is a vampire and WW is a New God. Superman is a spanish version whose father was Zod.

It was, but as of now WW is the exception, not the rule.
JL seems like it was done by two different people. That is because it was. I recognize the reason is because a personal tragedy was suffered, but you can clearly see drastic shifts in tone. I think they were really thinking this movie would be successful. Now I see articles that say they are rethinking everything.
Perhaps they will put more focus into solo films and not on these team up movies. IMO if WW had not been successful...after the JL movie they might have potentially just rebooted everything.
