She obviously would have demolished the soldier guy, thats the whole point of the scene. She's acknowledging his spirit in attempting to go down swinging regardless of how monstrously outmatched he was.
He wasn't using it visibly either, so she didn't need to. Faora on the other hand clearly was using speed against Supes and beating his ass because of it.
AoU Quicksilver, who is actually way slower than Kryptonians now that I check. Lol, the Avengers speedster isn't even as fast as Faora and you think Hulk has a chance?
It was obviously the overload from the missile. Kryptonians can take way more punishment than that, provably. Her buddy just tanked a larger explosion.
