Does Hawkman have a way to generate freezing temps? If not, Shaw would end up hitting him back with his best block buster.

Anyhow, Shaw has taken it to many MU heavy hitters, he fights well outside his weight class. Hawkman does too, though i'm not as familiar with his feats; whenever he's spoken about here they sound pretty impressive.

Shaw IMO,he would just absorb his hits and give it back to him

Has Shaw ever been stabbed or gutted enough to be put down? All I remember are superficial scratches from Wolverine and Daken.

Seems like Hawkman only chance would be death by a thousand cuts with that axe in the picture or his claws.

HMs Nth Metal is usually a factor in his fights.

Unless it was retconned, Storm used the cold to strip away his kinetic chaege, which left him helpless.

Hopefully HM would know how to do that.

Hawkman would need a creative way to take Shaw out, and he probably doesn't have it here.

How fast can he fly? Maybe he could grab Shaw and fly fast enough that Shaw would suffocate. Shaw would probably get out of the hold though, or use it to damage Hawkman.

Shaw would likely win this unless Hawkman had the luxury of prep (which he doesn't here). Shaw wouldn't just allow him to tee off on him without launching an assault or two of his own. Just remember that Shaw is able to take on Magneto evenly. I'm sure that I don't have to tell anyone about how many tons of debris that Magneto can use as a weapon.
