Life is good but there is a balancing act between finding friends in adult life and being a parent. Yesterday one of the waitresses of my recurring bar was leaving to make better things and I was hanging around with a group of low-key poets just because I had nothing better to do that night and because they are not terrible people. Today, one of my son's fish died.
I wrote a poem that oddly fits both situations described above.

Those are ridiculous nonsequitars, but also somehow fittingly juxtaposed. I can see how they might inspire the creation of art.
