what we know about the world razer is this: it destroyed 1000 planets and 100 stars before it was stuck, and that the energy needed to keep it trapped would destroy the entire star system and its adjacent ones if it were released.

Abeloths plot was to cause as much death and chaos as possible. If she had the power to destroy star systems, why bother merely destroying cities and what not?
