It’s just a trippy sequence. The fact that she saw herself is a call back to the dark side cave from ESB and how the only thing in the cave is “only what you take with you.” It could also represent how the dark side is entirely about selfishness and only seeing oneself.

And? The movie says that her parents are pointless. The fact that it only shows her and not them reflects this. They are irrelevant; she isn’t
