I've watched the new movie three times in cinemas, gonna go again one or twice more so that I can take some mental notes.

RotS (objectively I know this isn’t the best, but I always found it the most entertaining movie)

ANH

ESB

RoTJ (these three are interchangeable, I view them as equal)

R1 (Yeah I liked it)

TLJ (I was a bit upset at first but c’mon the movie is good,Luke not being Abeloth tier is not an objective reason to consider it a bad movie)

AotC (decent movie, plus we get to see Jedi in action)

TFA (ANH but with less memorable characters, still I liked it more the second time I watched it)

TPM (..., at least there’s Liam Neeson)

@Total Warrior
Yeah, no the only good thing about TLJ was its Animation quality.

Rey In one lesson becomes as proficient as a Jedi master which took Anakin/Luke years. Rey literally didn't know luke existed a week ago, literally the bulk of their army consists of a few thousand, watching/protecting Trillions. absolutely stupid.
They take luke out of character and have him die in the stupidest way, snoke was even worse. Admiral Ahkbar was randomly killed, while a purple haired *****, we don't give a shit about, sacrificed herself for the survivors. Fat Asian girl was useless, and a waste of space, they spent 30 minutes at a casino complaining about, capitalism, which turned out to be for naught. Phasma was a waste of time. Leia flying like superman was an asspull.

They shat in on the SW lore, to push their retarded SJW agenda.

I'd watch the TPM any day over that crap.

TLJ was just as good the second time. In fact I think looking at it more critically allowed me to see that some of the biggest complaints about the film don't hold water imo. Canto Blight was fine, Holdo was justified and Snoke is still a better villain than Dooku. Finn, Poe, Kylo and Rey all have very well realised arcs that are all pulled off well in the film.

I like how people are putting TCW Movie above TFA 😂

Attack of the Clones

ANH 8/10 - (even though quality wise it's not the best, you can't beat the classics man. It's the Old Testament.)
RotJ/ESB 8.5/10
RotJ/ESB 8.5/10 - (interchangeable; depends on my mood; haven't sat through either in a few years)
RotS 8.5/10 - (great emotions; great plot)

R1 7.5/10 - (only watched 1 time, but liked it)
TLJ 7.5/10 - (until I watch again, this is where it stands)

AotC 6/10 - (answers some questions; Geonosian scene makes up for a lot)
TFA 6/10 - (only watched 1 time; mediocre at best)
TPM 5/10 - (I just see Oscar Schindler all the time. Maul makes up for some. That and Padme's beautiful body.)

TCW movie 4/10 - (boy it sucks)

People really care about that whole "TFA is just a New Hope ripoff!" thing, huh.

at the end of the day, I rate movies based on if I feel like I wasted my time or not. When a movie is uber predictable, like TFA, it goes against my criteria. It's not good when I'm able to predict what happens scene after scene. TLJ tricked me a few times and kept my on the edge of my seat.

Plus when a film gives you nothing new, that’s not great. Especially for a Star Wars film.

TLJ also had me in my seat genuinely not knowing what was going to happen next. Except for Finn’s story that is. He had me snoring in this.

TLJ isn't even a well made movie in the story department. Plot's all over the place, the characters are almost universally cardboard, and things weren't unpredictable unless you had an idea of what Star Wars is supposed to be like, not what a movie is supposed to be like. Being new just to be new isn't always a good thing, and here it definitely was not. That said:

If I had to say which movie did the most damage to the franchise, it'd definitely be TLJ, but that's another story. It's still the one that's also made the best aesthetically with the best directing.

1. Return of the Jedi
2. Empire Strikes Back
3. Revenge of the Sith
4. Rogue One
5. The Phantom Menace / The Last Jedi
6. Attack of the Clones / The Force Awakens / TCW movie
7. Christmas special
