I'd rather they have a new character that look like Broly with a completely different origin
than using the same character but change him completely

honestly super saiyan god sounds badass, this...is just fanservice

I feel ya. People who were looking forward to something new/original with this saiyan or the movie in general have every right to be disappointed. The DB communities everywhere are kinda shaken if not divided over this, but will get over it eventually I reckon, just like those who initially hated Goku Black on paper or Frieza returning (RoF/ToP) on paper.

Am still mixed on this overall, but remain cautiously optimistic.

Now I think he is awesome but when I found out he comes back with a golden form I was super dissappointed.

The difference is Freeza is actually a decent character unlike Broly. There is nothing to Broly other then "muh powah lvls".

Thats like saying Doomsday is a bad villain cause his backstory and characteristics isnt as good As Braniac's.

Well yeah... Doomsday is shit. He's a plot device rather then a character. DoS is the only time he has been a decent villain. He pales in comparison to characters like Braniac.

A multiverse of possibilities, and they recycle a character from the old movies.

I'm stoked about this reveal to be honest, I know a lot of people will be divided on it but I'm really interested to see the Toriyama version of the character.

Yeah if they do the story right and make him some powerful legend that and has nothing to do Goku, I am cool with that.

If it is the same old Broly with his I hate goku for making me cry shit, I am not cool with that.
