😐 the spectre casually shrugged it off. Not only that, but John was pissing his pants when he met him. He's strong, but don't play it up too much.

I think he was talking about another instance. Spectre agreed that the most powerful of mages can neutralize him. I would say the most potent mages can do a lot of damage. Constantine is one of them.
