Think i'm going to go with Dione on this one.

Bolt did as well, or at least his body. But that's reasonable.

We don't know that because we're left to assume he died

Black Bolts scream never even approached that level, but oddly enough , it kind of fits with how Thanos tanked it before. Weakened or not.

As someone that doesn't really read Inhumans, does Bolt not have some sort of inherent immunity to his own powers going off? Or is him tanking it impressive simply because of the destruction it caused?

There appears to be a "safezone" around him, much like in Nitro's case. One could easily argue Dione was in that safezone.

Or he's just immune, yeah. He was never affected by his screams.

I think it's just like any other power, it's coming from him so it's written to not hurt him.

I certainly don't think he blasts himself when he screams, so he didn't really tank anything in my opinion.

An assumed immunity is usually how powers work. Rarely stated, such as the time Byrne had Darkseid say it after Superman steered his OE into him. But it's the only explanation for, say, Superman not burning out his own eyes, yet still able to be burned by Supergirl.

But if you had a character that could blow up a universe, I wouldn't take the fact they're standing in the middle of the blast as tanking a universe buster.. That's just not how comics work.

....say, if a universe buster was standing in the middle of the blast...

Like a short, blue gumball type character. Talks like a child. Says "Squish" when erasing a universe. You wouldn't say he's tanking his own attack, and that Frank Castle could still KO him.

That's why I was asking. Unless I was misunderstanding, people were talking like it was some huge feat for Blackbolt. I mean, it's impressive, sure, but there seems like context.
