Vegeta vs Kenpachi

Something occurs to me:

Vegeta got his tail cut off by a sword. Used by Yajorobi, but still just a regular sword.

He also got cut along the back. Normal sword.

Trunks cut up Freeza, with a normal sword.

Krillin was hurt by a normal bullet.

And then there's Krillin's Destructo Disc. Why is it so powerful? How come it can cut through characters a million times stronger then Krillin, who can tank shots from other much stronger characters?

It all becomes obvious, if you look at the details.

I submit Dragon Ball characters have TERRIBLE piercing/cutting resistance.. Human level, easily.

Bleach characters with their pointy things are their worst nightmare. 😂

Remember when Krillin and Gohan were about to be killed by a comnon tree with a sharp point. 😉

He blocked the sword by focusing fully on it. He needed to focus on making an active defense.

On a regular sword. Not a masterwork sword a ninja might use.

Against something like a Zampaku, he loses that finger. Just like with the kienzan, who's only common denoninator is that it's a hard light near indestructible bladed object, and thus is unblockable.

I'd wager something like Snake Eyes sword or a Hanzo sword from Kill Bill would lop that finger off as well.

Kid Goku is early Dragon Ball, when Arale and Dr. Slump were a part of their universe. And a recent episode of Super proved Arale = gag manga, and gag manga works by different rules.

Dragon Ball started as a gag manga. Until it wasn't.

I mean, Vegeta's kind of garbage too, considering the murders just to get Goku fighting at the Buu saga. 🙂

Or did you forget SSJ1 Goku blocking SSJ1 Trunks' sword with his index finger? You know, the same sword that easily sliced Frieza into ribbons? The same Frieza that has planet+++ durability in a weaker form than the one Trunks killed?

SSJ1 Goku's finger > Trunks sword >>> Mecha Frieza > Final form Frieza >>> Planetary explosion

Not to mention that even the Androids are proven FTL at this point. /shrug
