movie rorschach vs tv punisher

Punisher destroys him. What did Rorschach do to cause this debate besides get beat up by Ozy and overwhelmed by some street level cops?

i dunno. rorschach took a beating from ozy, was bounced off walls and stone tables by someone who was blatantly superhuman. he also demonstrated low level super powers himself with some of jumps and speed. he was also quite skilled, though clearly well below ozy. i'm unsure of this one tbh. /shrug

Daredevil's Punisher had the massive prison fight, taking blows from Kingpin, going toe to toe with DD himself, who was definitely low super human.

In his own show he looked like Jason Bourne would beat him.

you're acting as if they're completely separate characters. All of those feats were performed by the same guy.

However, it’s two different view points because of writers and directors. Keep in mind, I’m not arguing if it’s canon or now. I’m merely saying because there is a change in directors/writers based on episodes you will possibly see two different versions of the characters in terms of power

Punisher in season 2 of daredevil has better feats due to the directors/writers.

Getting shot by an arrow, getting shot by a high caliber rifle twice and then nearly bleeding out. Got up a day later none the worse for wear and even owned a squad of highly trained soldiers not long after.

He then (while still injured) easily murders an entire hit squad of Anvil soldiers.

Before he even got into the shoot out, he killed three other soldiers, cut off the third ones head, attached a grenades to it, and then threw it at the other soldiers.

Easily kills an armed man with broken ribs, broken bones, missing teeth, a concussion, and contusions (these are all confirmed by a doctor next episode too).

This all culminated in a heavily injured Frank fighting a peak form Billy. Russo even uses hostages to first distract and then threaten Frank. The punisher (with his broken ribs) then gets shot in the chest twice, evenly fights the highly trained soldier of the same caliber as he is, gets a knife through his arm, and still kicks Russo's ass hard.
