We saw that Mangog was able to destroy a Mjolnir but that wasn't 616 Mjolnir (not sure why Marvel went that route seemed like a waste). I'm also thinking that since the Destroyer is made of sterner materials than Mjolnir that it should be able to destroy it as well. This is why I'm not thinking that it would be a far cry for Thanos to be able to break it as well. But then again throughout it's history, the hammer has been capable of deflecting shit that makes me doubtful that even a Galactus level being could muster. Maybe Mangog breaking the hammer is PIS.

physically no1 under elite skyfather maybe higher given the uberness and sentience that the hammer has shown since Jane took it up

also mangog is a effing beast. this aint no doomsday

Mjolnir*

Mjölnir*

Remember that (kid) Nova issue when Dr. Doom stole Mjolnir?

We found out then that even Thor himself has no idea how to spell it laughcry

it says nothing like that. It says it’s where dead gods power goes when they die. That’s where Thanos power went when Thane stripped him of it. Thanos was and has been called a god in that series. He cane to reclaim his power back as he stated , the sister say they can’t simply give back power.

The writer made it clear from the start what sort of power lvl he believed Thanos should be at, he even confirmed such in several interviews.

That is NOT current Thanos nor does he have a cosmic cube in his possession or years to augment his body.
He never uses the cube to amp his power, the scene with the cube is simply showing his past exploits.

I believe youre misinterpreting the scene. Its right there on the page. The sisters state that the god quarry holds all those dead gods power and its thanos choice to take it should he pass the test. Plus lol at writer interviews

I know that. Current Thanos is not the same Thanos that fought warlock amd held the cube nor is he the same one who breaks caps shield and fights OKT.

its you who misinterpreted it, if you read the full arc and not cherry pick bits here and there it’s clear what’s going on. They state serval times he needs to go into the quarry to regain what HE lost and it can’t just be given to him or anyone. It only says it hold all the powers of each god etc who lost their powers. He gained no extra power or abilities.

You can lol all you want, the writer backs up his statement of how he thinks Thanos should to at power lvl wise with his showings.

The Thanos that breaks Caps shield is not the older king Thanos, you can clearly see it in the picture.

Thanos didn’t get a boast

The entire point of the Quarty was to show where the energy of gods goes when they die. Thanos lost his powers. He went to the quarry to obtain it back through a challenge.

Disagree. Not cherry picking and unless you can show a scene where it states he got his old power back i cant see it. Especially with his showings prior to deaths tampering. Agree to disagree. Are you saying the scene from where Thanos is standing over a fallen Cap is current? Again no1 cares about writer interviews.

It's not current Thanos,now.

It's current Thanos,at some unspecified point in the future.

So..... inadmissible.

it says it’s several of the comics lol. It also says he goes to regain his power he was stripped of. Not once does it say he gets any extra power.

His showings before deaths tampering are irrelevant anyway. As I said the writer said he believed Thanos be more of a cosmic threat than how he’s been wrote before. Writers interviews don’t count when saying stupid stuff about who would beat who, but Lemaire was simply stating how powerful he believed his Thanos is in his upcoming series he was about to write.

It Thanos from slightly in the future not the king Thanos, not saying it can be used but it in Thanos from nearer in time than the King Thanos we’ve seen.

Now who is cherry picking?

True it does say he is there to regain his power. However, the quarry did not contain Thanos lost power but the power of the Dead Gods. And seeing as to his performance prior to this new arc was lacking I see no reason why an amp would be somehow out the realm of possibility.

Again writer comments and what his the pages are two different things. I take your word that he wishes him to be some cosmic threat but until it's shown its just that...intention.

Its not relevant. You can post a scene from one day in the future showing Hulk killing Odin but its not "current" Hulk so its inadmissable. In any event nothing depicted now or in the future showed him capable of destroying mlojnir. It is simply beyond his power

lmao how am I cherry picking. It’s stated from the very moment Thanos learns of and journeys to god quarry about getting his power back. It contained Thanos power to as he was considered a god/old godYes he was still alive but in mortal form with his power gone.

Barring his bendis showing his feats still was at a very high lvl. The ultimate admitted physically they couldn’t beat him and he’s easily kill them. He was stomping a highly amped Annihilus too.

Act is ignorant as want about it, doesn’t change the fact about what he said and was shown. Thanos was a day away from dying and was getting weaker everytime he exerted himself Yet was easily stomping the imperial guard.

Ffs lol I never said it was useable , it simply explained it to you. Time of the month ??

The god quarry did not contain his power. Only the power of DEAD and FORGOTTEN gods who layed there. Thanos was neither a dead or forgotten anything. Quit reaching its embarrassing

Hand waving his lows got it.

Lol at the Imperial Guard but no mention of Gladiator sure IT.

You alluded to it as something that was noteworthy. It was not. Stop including feats that hold no weight then backtracking.

Long ago, Thanos was cool as anything, then he became emo, then he became Dione. Now he is love lost and aged and is going to do anything to get death back by his side. Shame, I loved Thanos when he wasn't a *****.

Did you just ****ing insult Lord Thanos you piece of filth. Thanos has been, always gonna be, and will be forever the best character in the history of comics. That's the point of the character.

😂 it’s made crystal clear that Thanos power he lost was in the god quarry. Read the full arc ffs, not just scans from the ownage thread.

You acting like carver is pretty sad. If you don’t like what writers say or do, don’t read comics or debate.

Why would I mention Gladiator ko’ing a weaker Thanos than the one that has just stomped the guard. You do know EVERYTIME Thanos exerted himself it made him far weaker due to his condition.

Stop acting like a h1 wanna be. You stated something and was wrong about it. I corrected you and then you cry about it 😂

How could the God Quarry contain his lost power if he did not die yet? I don't believe that it did. I believe that he gained more power than he previously had which was to make him more powerful for some upcoming grand cosmic event. Thanos has the power of flight now. Can someone show me once where Thanos was able to fly at FTL speeds under his own power? If this were the case why did he fight the Fallen One like he did? Why did he need his chair? This was a boost.
