KotOR 2 Force drain and Wound in The Force Concept Inconsistency

1. This is how the 'Nihilus' drain works in the dark side version of KotOR 2 and the color it has: 02:30

Now, I don't know what path is in the next scene, but it could be the LS version: this has the same color as the dark Exile's version: 08:43

In this version, however, her Force drain is yellow/orange: 05:06

Nihilus' drain in comics is presented as a dark cloud(in color like the Dark Exile's drain), but in the video-game it has the orange yellow-ish color: 01:08

2. Nihilus' drain is stated by Kreia to be an ancient Sith technique that must be experienced at first hand; and that's the ability Nihilus uses. But during the game and even some sources, it was established that Nihilus can use the Killer-Force technique because of his Wound in The Force status and that he chose the dark side.

"He is a wound in the Force, more presence than flesh, and in his wake life dies… sacrificing itself to his hunger." ―Visas Marr

"And it devours him as he devours others - his mere presence kills all around him, slowly, feeding him. He is already dead, it is simply a question of how many he kills before he falls." ―Darth Traya (Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic: The Sith Lords)
"Then, when all seems lost, he discovers that his emptiness hungered. The first time, he fed it unconsciously. Draining another being's life is frightening, nauseating, but for a euphoric moment, the memories, the illness, and the hunger disappeared. But it proves insatiable. The more he indulges it, the shorter the satisfaction lasts and the more severe the hunger becomes. He begins feeding relentlessly, still always craving." ―Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide
"Three lords stood above all others: Darth Nihilus, whose hunger devoured all life around him; Darth Sion, whose shattered body was held together by hatred; and Darth Traya, once a Jedi Master but now the Lord of Betrayal." ―The Conclave at Katarr Codex Entry (Star Wars: The Old Republic)
"Nothing matters except his hunger. Before it devours him totally, Nihilus uses its power to displace his persona into his robes and armor. As his useless body disintegrates, he becomes living primitive intention; at last, the whole of the galaxy becomes food—for Nihilus has become the hunger." ―Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide

Only way for these inconsistencies to make sense to me is that the entire Triumvirate of the Sith(with Traya atop) were a bunch of Wounds in the Force who severed themselves from the Force(to become undetectable: sort of Yuuzhan Vong, eh, almost) or found a way to combine Force drain and Sever Force(a dark side variant of it) and created Killer Force(by studying the ancient Sith teachings)
