watched the first few episodes over the weekend

still love the violence

Episode 2's splat against the wall was excellent. 😂

I haven't gotten to episode 3 yet.

I watched the first three. It's still a good and fun show, but I didn't find anything that improved from the previous.

Yeah even though its still great, its probably the right decision to end it at S5.

Aye

caught up and watched all 4 episodes

still enjoy it.. the violence is still grand

Homelander is seriously deranged. Love it.

The mannerisms and faces HL makes are great.

I find his son to be annoying AF though, not a fan of that kid actor.

But this season isn't better than the previous.

There's something about his voice. Maybe the ADR or his voice changing? He sounds like a girl everytime he speaks and it throws me off.

The Vought on Ice part is probably my highlight of the entire show so far. Pure gold. 😂

...

Episode 5 got a bit wacky.

But I liked how awful all the Vought Marvel movies looked.. lol

Hilarious though the stunt guy told him not to hold back because he can take it 😂

just bout caught up

the violence still grad

Nice cliffhanger. Should be a great season end.

Weakest season IMO. Not really offering anything new. Still enjoyable enough to watch though.

Didn't expect Deep to do this well in a fight.

Spoiler:
Thought Annie was gonna dust him, then he destroys her, tanks many of A-Train's punches and dodges one. Even after A-Train softened him up enough for Annie to grab his gills and wail on him, he's still said as too tough to kill.
This season really threw away all power levels established by previous seasons for the current plot.

^ But was that the right Annie ?

SPOILER ALERT

Also yeah was waiting for A-Train to punch Deep like 20times in a second.

Although I kind of like how most of them are very tough to kill (durability wise).

Poor Kimiko is really suffering from the Worf effect nowadays.

The Deep having superhuman durability goes with his Aquaman-clone powers, he's built to survive massive levels of deep sea pressure.

So the toughest there is. Just always getting beaten up against unfair opponents 😂

Seriously though she survives anything.

Her regen was definitely shown off a lot this season. But, yeah, just felt to me like whenever the writers wanted to

Spoiler:
highlight the threat level of another supe, they'd just go, "let's have them beat the shit out of Kimiko and/or mangle her in some way. That way, the new supe looks strong and we can do more healing factor shit." Neuman's daughter chewed her arm off, the shapeshifter clowned her and snapped her neck and then Sam pretty much treated her like a child during the final sequence. Even Firecracker was able to put up a fight against her, the same Firecracker who got absolutely stomped by Annie.

Worf treatment is a pretty fair analysis. We've also seen her prowess vary way up and way down, depending on the plot.

The Sam showing wasn't one of them, imo, he's top tier strength level.

And I got a boner for the end scene reveal. Gives me hope for next season.
