Well we now know Slade's not a problem. How's Manta stack up?

The last time Manta fought Aquaman, he did really well.

Manta is just a human,right?

I know I know,so is Batman....but really, have they ever explained BM? Does he actually do that well against AM?

He was doing well during the New 52 relaunch, when he was written by Johns.
He came off as very competent, no easy trick, given his Super Friends history.

He also has gear fashioned to combat Arthur, kind of like the Hulk-Busters had for the Hulk back in the day. Didn't know about his aquatic genes though. That makes him even cooler.

Manta is a hard one to peg down. He's able to give Aquaman a run for his money, but he's not as strong as him.

how? His healing factor gave him his eye back, his hair returned to its natural color (even though it shouldn't have been black), and he was more enhanced than ever.
