Dragon Age 4

Is there any chance DA4 mimics more the style and feel of DA😮? I feel like the games got less dark as the series went on. DA😮 was truly a dark fantasy game. By the time DA:I rolled around, it felt more like a run of the mill fantasy RPG for me.

I still love Inquisition, but nothing beats the atmosphere of the first game.

I still have to play the 3rd game.

I think that’s a common complaint about the third game. There are some rather dark aspects but the feel is definitely not as moody. It would be cool if they got back to the darker more grounded fantasy feel of the first.

Yeah, your character in Origins could be covered in blood while you try to persuade a dark witch to **** you...and who happens to have a dragon witch "mother" that uses her "kids" for more power.

All while covered in blood!

I don't know if I would say it's grounded though....dark fantasy for sure.

I’ve played inquisition a few times. It’s pretty easy to just skip the side content crap and just focus on the main story and important character quests. Makes the game a lot more fun.

It can, but it also makes the game a hell of a lot shorter, I found.

Yeah the cliffhanger is rough

It is, but I actually enjoyed Trespasser, so ymmv I guess.

Still around 40 or 50 hours. Solid length for a story based rpg.

How the hell did you get 40 hours out of it while sticking just to the MSQ?

Yup I always turn off blood.

Oh and I install a mod that lets you toggle whether or not helmets show up.

GOOD LORD what were they thinking with a lot of these helmets?!

My mage looked like a sexually confused court jester.

Also doing the character based side quests. Some of the zone quests are good too. Talking to characters between each mission. Plus the dlc.
