Not sure how Hit would adapt against him in relation to Dyspo and such, but as it is now at this point, Toppo wrecks. Now if it were pre-GoD Toppo, Hit would have a better chance.

Vegeta likely surpassed Hit with Ascended SSJB, or at least would be able to give Hit a good fight like Kaioken Goku since he was implied equal to SSJB KK in that state, but even then, it still took an emotion/rage amp for him to overcome GoD Toppo. Demoralizing Toppo with Vegeta pointing out he didn't cast anything aside like Toppo did probably helped too.

Even IF Toppo couldn't counter Hit's time-skip initially, he's still constantly enveloped in a solid aura of Hakai energy... Which would essentially negate ALL of Hit's attacks.

Hit literally has no way to win here.

It proves the aura isn't an insta kill, though. It wasn't shown as actually destroying anything, and Freeza proved you don't need to be particularly powerful to fend off small amounts of destruction energy.

It certainly offers protection from attacks, but we don't know it would stop Hit's dimensional kill technique. Or a foused barrage of time skip attacks.
