Riddle me this: what do an uzi-packing ninja, a saber-toothed tiger, a wolf and a pterodactyl have in common?
The death of everyone in this tourney! Lol
Looking at the characters in this thing, I came to a realization rather quickly—feats aren’t going to win this. Too many parallel characters with similar feats. So if feats won’t win it, what will?
The craziest plan ever unleashed in a tournament setting. smile
Before I go into detail, 3 important rules need to be reiterated:
(A) We have the same knowledge of the Savage Land as the characters MOST familiar with it
(B) There are NO DOOMSDAY WEAPONS allowed
(C) Slash ok’d my wolf, Timber, for this tourney. My thanks to him.
THE PLAN
(1) ARASHIKAGE POWA!

LOL Spirit is the best tracker the GI JOE team has, and SE spotted him 10 MILES away! And Laserbeak should have been impossible to detect. No one is getting close to me without my knowing it.
(2) BE VERWY VERWY QUIET, I’M HUNTING PTERWOSAURS!
Next order of business: I use my own skills and track me down…..a pterosaur! Who wouldn’t?! They are literally everywhere in the Savage Land:

Logan lived in the Land for months and knows it EXTREMELY well. Cap has also visited several times and had access to SHIELD’S files on the Land. Using their collective knowledge (I’ll rely on it plenty in this), or simply my own tracking ability, I track one back to its aerie on the slopes of the Eternity Mountains. It may take a day (don’t know where I arrive), but once there I carefully make my approach then:

Either way, I get my pterosaur. Once we’re friends, I wait til nightfall and climb aboard! (Like you wouldn’t!) I mean if he can ride a SHARK…

(4) RECON
Since no one else can fly, once I’m airborne I have a MASSIVE advantage over every person in the field. My tactical binoculars ensure we stay high enough that no one notices me:

Then I do some recon. Many of my foes will stand out clearly amid the jungle. In the event someone’s plans leave them in the open I swoop in using the trees to hide the muzzle flash (or use blades) and take them out with a headshot.

(5) ANTI METAL!!
Recon done, I head to the aerie and drop off my metallic gear (my suit is Kevlar so stays on). Then I head straight for an ANTI METAL mine. After checking for others, I gather several pieces:

and bring them to the aerie. Keeping it away from my equipment (which is buried behind a large boulder) I store chunks in the pouches I have on me and secure one piece around Timber’s neck. I keep 2 large pieces for myself and secure another in one of my largest pouches.
(6) SMILODONS MAKE ME SMILE
Next I command the pterosaur (or a different one) to grab Timber in its talons and we head for KA-ZAR’S place. Again, I check carefully for others. My goal there is simple: find ZABU. The sabre-tooth should be there, or very near. If not, I wait; he’ll sense me shortly. When he shows up, I use animal empathy (or hypnosis) to convince him I’m a friend—should be easy given Zabu’s near human intelligence:

In the same way I speak to Timber, I ask for his help locating the others. Zabu commands almost as much respect as Ka-Zar in the Savage Land:

I tell him there are strangers here (and how many) who must be hunted down and ask him to spread word to other creatures. The Land will already be trying to kill us—with Zabu’s help I focus that desire on the others and steer it away from myself.
Before I leave, I gift Zabu with a piece of ANTI METAL around his neck. I tell him it will protect him from enemy bullets and let him destroy enemy weapons just by passing by. The range of anti metal can be quite large:

“NO LIMITS” to its vibrations. You can see the range against ULTRON and its effects. Silverbird’s suit was NOT pure anti metal, hence the shorter range, like Misty’s arm:

Imagine what raw anti metal does to the majority of the players in this game! Same as it did to Ultron, Terminus and Plunder’s lab in the first set of scans. Zabu and Timber can melt weapons and armor from the shadows dozens of meters away! And given that they are just animals, they make for the PERFECT delivery system of destruction!
That would leave the majority unarmed. NOT good with the Land actively hunting them.

It’s damn near killed Logan several times. And that was WITHOUT direction—mostly.
Which reminds me—once Zabu and Timber are on their way, I head to the temple where those giant gorillas live and “recruit” them as well. Can’t have too many friends.
Between anti metal, hulk-fighting gorillas and dinosaurs, most of the players here would be killed in a matter of days while I sit back in the aerie and watch. At the least they would all be on constant guard wasting resources and likely making a LOT of noise (at least until their weapons melt) trying to stay alive, giving away their positions to me and (as importantly) each other. Between them, Zabu and Timber should easily be able to at least FIND everyone. Even Parker or the Jedis couldn’t pick Zabu and Timber out from the general danger all around them. Web cartridges and Sabers would also melt.
I’m in no hurry. I let the Land handle as many as possible. I also do night recon to track and kill who I can. Any time I see an opening, I take it—from a safe distance.
(7) ENDGAME
In a few days I meet up with Zabu and find out who is left. Then, under Zabu’s protection, I take Zabu and Timber, my gorillas and any friends Zabu rounds up to hunt the others down. I send them well in front and direct Timber to howl if they find anyone. I have my weapons this time. Before I set off I place myself in the ARASHIKAGE MINDEST (see techniques above):

Storm Shadow puts him in it once, but later he has mastered it, even using it on others to free them from mind control. He also uses it to overload the mind control machine that enslaved the others. The mindset will prevent any Jedi nonsense and make me immune to pain:

As we near anyone, the anti metal will destroy whatever weapons may remain. If I hear a howl, I’ll have the animals and my own skills and weapons ready to deal with anyone we meet.
(7A) POSSIBLE EXCEPTIONS
Players who may need special consideration: JEDI. Sabers are melted and Force hiding is doubtful—they couldn’t keep it up, and again, danger is EVERYWHERE. That would cloud their ability to discern it. The EAR THAT SEES may let me detect them as well, and I’ve my own mind powers to keep from being clouded. I should be able to snipe them from a distance or use several grenades to kill them. I’m also FAR from alone. Luke Skywalker himself has had trouble with monsters. Panther’s armor may also save him from anti metal. If a dino, or another player, hasn’t killed him, I still have my own skills, and a huge numbers edge on him with my little Savage Land army.
Any traps set will have almost certainly been tripped by one of the thousands of dinos roaming the land, but we’re always on the lookout. It will take some time, but eventually we put any survivors down.
And that’s it. I’ll finish with some SE scans to show how effective his skill set is, especially in this dark environment.
Anticlimactic? Maybe, but no one is winning this quick or easy. GG gents. And judges, be sure to vote for the guy with the Savage Land behind him. 👆
