Hera Syndulla Appears in "Doctor Aphra"...

...Which tells us that she's still canonically alive(and training Rebel cadets) between the events of ANH and ESB.

whos syndulla

Ya know, I feel like this thing they're doing completely ruins any suspense for a character, because we know they are already gonna live if they show up at a certain time, so any so called 'tension' beforehand is a little pointless.

I mean sure, they did this obviously with Obi-Wan, Yoda, Vader and all them. But they were shown in a later time period and they were completed, then it went back to their younger days.

Here with Hera, her story isn't even finished in Rebels, then we already have a hint in RO that hints she's alive and then now this. So the whole suspense in Rebels for Hera, that isn't even finished yet is completely gone.

Yeah, I was surprised by the reveal as well... But I guess since Rebels is ending in a few weeks, Disney doesn't really care about appeasing its viewership anymore. /shrug

*Here's the entirety of Hera's scene, for anyone interested:

Well , at least Zeb’s, Sabine’s and Ezra’s fates are still kind of up in the air

I hope they all die.

Hera took part in the Battle of Endor.

The Ghost was in Rogue One too as I recall.

Indeed. Even though "Forces of Destiny" is dubbed a canon micro-series, many people still believe its canonicity is dubious and gawk at its usage for whatever reason.

However, Hera's appearance in today's issue certainly helps substantiate the notion that she survived into the RotJ-era as the micro-series depicts. 👆

Who would you rather prefer? And what's wrong with Magik?

Why so much hate for these characters? I only watched the first season of the show and while certainly I don’t consider them memorable, I don’t even hate them so much like a lot of people here. What have they done to be so detestable?

It's not Magik. That's Jane Foster.

Okay,

Zeb: He's an unintelligent brute who makes cringey attempts at comedic relief. Quick to anger and rash in decision making.

Ezra: Self-explanatory; obnoxious, naive, childish, immature etc. I have to give him credit for maturing a bit by where the series is now.

Kanan: An arrogant, closed-minded, stubborn jedi who only does things how thinks they should be done with little consideration for input from others. Acts like he's some wise, know-it-all jedi master after just a few years of training.

Sabine: I personally like her the most, but I can understand why others hate her. Cringey jokes, shames Mandalorians with her artsiness, comes off as too girly for a warrior.

Hera: I've never seen her do anything that I had a problem with. Neutral character for me. Not sure what others have to say.

Chopper: Obnoxious tin can; too reminiscent of R2D2 the original to be likable.

Huh, Hera's taken the role of a Jan Ors by the looks of it. Neato

Doctor Aphra #18:

Hutt cyborgs?

Yeeeeeah...

Not really anything monumental, but Hera was among the Rebels fighting against Vader in the recent arc of the SW comic series:
