Democratic Sen. Carlos Uresti Found Guilty on all 11 Felonys on Money Laundering

Jury finds state Sen. Carlos Uresti guilty of 11 felonies, leading to calls from Democratic colleagues to resign State Sen. Carlos Uresti, D-San Antonio, could face years in prison and lose his seat after he was found guilty of multiple felonies Thursday.

" the 11 felony charges — including multiple counts of fraud and money laundering — would render the San Antonio Democrat ineligible to continue serving as a state legislator. Uresti, an attorney by trade, would also be disbarred."

Oh Democrats, Always being caught for corruption

Exactly, he's a criminal, end of story. Amazing how easy these threads go whenever it's a Dem being a shitlord. No excuses, no "what about!" deflections or equalization tactics, no temper tantrums.

Easy to say now, since this isn't a national seat. If he was say Bob Menendez then it's "we can't let Christy appointment a republican"

Its always easy to say "lock him up" when it matters little on a national election. If he was a U.S. Senator, every liberal swinging D here would be spinning like a top.

Indeed, they had the courage not to defend someone who ended up being found guilty in a court of law, as opposed to someone who has had only accusations hurled.

^ Was convinced that every negative story against Clinton no matter how far fetched during the elections was true, even ones she was repeatedly cleared of. Oh the ironing...

Big courage it takes to not defend someone found not guilty.

I think I said he looked like a creeper. Was he found guilty?

Of coarse not, then again, neither was the person who killed kate steinle, but of coarse we know the justice system in this country is Perfect.

Jose Zarate was found guilty of crimes and is facing jail time, so not sure what your point is there.

In regards to Menendez, didn't you say today that you believe in due process. So.
