Sorry it was a scandal. Someone smarter then you named it that, Mr. Eco Friendly latte sipping college guy.
Say what you want about me, but at least I’m willing to listen to and understand the other side.
Obama did not weaponize the IRS against Republicans, that’s another faux scandal. I even remember having this conversation with you and providing all the links and you more or less conceded to some degree. Do you not remember the details of the IRS thing?
It doesn't matter if you think it was a scandal or not the IRS was wrong:
That leads up to the part of it is scandalous.

Yes he did, the IRS even apologized.
Originally posted by snowdragonRight, but I’m disputing the claim that Obama weaponized the IRS against conservatives. The IRS screening procedures may have disproportionately affected conservative groups but they did also affect liberal groups. Essentially the IRS was applying heightened scrutiny on groups with buzzwords like “Patriots” in their name because research indicated they were more likely to evade taxes or something.

What the IRS did was wrong, I think we can agree. But looking at the details and intention, it clearly was not being used by Obama for political purposes. Didn’t Obama even force the irs commissioner to resign?

Plausible deniability is a powerful tool when you are the leader of any organization. Obama did several things that were sketchy and leveraged his knowledge of the law to shield himself from harm. There were several things on that OP with scandals that were legitimate concerns pushed aside because of his popularity with public opinion.
The president is able to prioritize enforcement of laws as well as "suspend" enforcement of laws, the IRS was a heightened enforcement or scrutiny.

When exactly did I deflect? Sure, retrospectively investing in Solyndra was a mistake.

Yeah. Obama invested in a company that went bankrupt. Meanwhile, Trump actually went bankrupt, 5 times
