How Obama and his team blew the Response to Russian Meddling

HuffPost

but i thought russian meddling was "fake news" and a "witch hunt". why else would trump have had no official response at all? fee-fees?

I didn't write the article.

Link does not work for me.

But I am entertained by the fact it seems that they just plain thought Trump had SO little a chance at winning they didn't feel the need to do much about Russia.

Doesn't work, this one does:

Thx

Anyways so:

"Then Brennan turned to an even more sensitive issue: Russia’s interference in the American election. Brennan was now aware that at least a year earlier Russian hackers had begun their cyberattack on the Democratic National Committee. We know you’re doing this, Brennan said to the Russian. He pointed out that Americans would be enraged to find out Moscow was seeking to subvert the election — and that such an operation could backfire. Brennan warned Bortnikov that if Russia continued this information warfare, there would be a price to pay. He did not specify the consequences."

Maybe I'm missing something. Brennan says Americans would be outraged, but they never said a damn thing lol.

They come off incompetent as f*ck.

Seems Brennan knew and did nothing. Now he's buttmad he got caught

"Obama was actively campaigning for Clinton. Would a tough and vocal reaction be seen as a White House attempt to assist Clinton and stick it to Trump? They worried that if a White House effort to counter Russian meddling came across as a political maneuver, that could compromise the ability of the Department of Homeland Security to work with state and local election officials to make sure the voting system was sound. (Was Obama too worried about being perceived as prejudicial or conniving? “Perhaps there was some overcompensation,” a top Obama aide said later.)"

Yeah, maybe a sitting president shouldn't have been actively campaigning for Hilary Clinton in the first place.

The funniest thing is, they all knew about this, and thought it was a nothing burger. They even laughed at the chances of Trump winning. Soon as he won, they said this was a big deal.

Shows you how dumb people really are.

A bunch of leftists miscalculated when it came to Trump. Instead of learning a lesson from the entire thing and changing their ways they just doubled down.

Russia didn't just cost Hilary the election, they are to blame for everything. That #ReleaseTheMemo? Was blamed on Russians(spoiler alert, it wasn't Russians).

It's not what Vlad said, it's what Obamas own team said and did.

you had a sloppy 69 with surt and so that means your latest batshit collusiin-deflection thread is fact? cool. can i join? *unzips*

You didn't read the article apparently. The blame squarely rests at the foot of the obmaa admin.

I don't understand how they meddled with the election, Clinton actually did meddle with it why aren't we discussing that.

Can anyone explain how the Russians actually affected the election

As for Obama, Obama was always weak in the world stage, why else did the Middle East go back to shit etc
