So here's the issue.
All I've asked for the tournament is that if someone can prove they can do something, they may attempt to bring it into play. If Loki has proven for instance, that he can summon the norn stones, I see little reason to penalize him for doing so? Thor for instance has summoned his armor a handful of times in his 50+ year period of time as a hero, yet I wouldn't doubt he can still do so. So, given that Leo has already used the items, judges have not seemed to appear to disgruntled about it, nor do prior opponents...I'm going give the option to attempt to use the weapons, so long as scan evidence backs it up. The rest is up to the judges, but to attempt is not against the rules.
An example of a technique going poorly in the tournament was when Leo said he'd try to possess Mjolnir. The judges didn't buy it in the 3 way, even with scans as evidence. So the burden of proof will always be on the person making the argument and I can't see an issue with it at the moment.
In short, I see nothing wrong here, and if there was concern, it's too late to call illegal tactics.
Just to clarify my argument was not that it is illegal, attempting to find an advantage is can kind of the point of these BZs. My argument was that it amounts to one sided prep, basically a character summons, and clearly is not standard gear for Loki.
I also don't see as how it would be too late. This is the first time that I am able to raise said concern before a match.
Well with all that Leo should clearly be a heavy favorite now, maybe somehow "To me my Galactus" will come into play. 😑
