Was Padme Force sensitive?

I’m not against you. I’m against what you’ve done, and what you’re planning to do. “I don’t know you anymore,” she told him. Couldn’t he see what he was doing? Couldn’t he feel her heart breaking? “I’ll never stop loving you, but you are going down a path I cannot follow.” In despair, she reached for the connection they had had through the Force, for that one moment when she had known him completely even though they hadn’t been together.

But even a Jedi couldn’t create a Force connection just by trying, and Padme was no Jedi. Desperate as she was, she could find only a faint thread of what they had shared, thinner than a strand of spider silk. It still joined her with a familiar trace of … goodness? Sensing that, she felt a stirring of hope. She spoke to that part of him, trying to call back the Anakin who was her husband, her lover, the father of their child. “Stop now,” she begged. “Come back! I love you.”

Revenge of the Sith junior novelization

The way the text describes it, it seems like Padme is Force sensitive, although not terribly so. Perhaps even below average. But the Force is still there, as I see it.

Grab her by the pussy

What is the midichlorian threshold for being force sensitive? Everyone has varying levels of midichlorians, with everyone being able to strengthen the connection using the midi-count they have (e.g chirrut imwe).

Anakin blasted a batch or so of concentrated midichlorians in her if that counts.

Have the mythos ever explored the potential energy of someone drinking a gallon of another users midichlorians. Seems like a loophole not being utilized

ROFL! 😂 😂

Yeah, cumulatively speaking a gallon sounds about right.

Come to think of it, I guess Padme was connected to two Anakin-class force sensitives at the time.

Interesting post member Azronger...

An excess of 5000 midi chlorians is minor connection to the force.

Of course that's not an absolute though. Someone like Chirrut Imwe (at say 4000 midichlorians) may have better precognitive abilities than someone with 5000 who doesn't believe in the force.

Are we speaking Canon or Legends? Because in Legends, she's not force sensitive, but there's a million explainations for this phenomenon, but in Canon, the one explaination is that all living things have a "soul", and are thus connected to the force. This would have allowed her, (like Chirrut Imwe) to connect with Anakin through the Force, without actually using the Force. This is also an explaination in legends, but it's the only one in canon.

The Force flows in every living thing. You don't need to be a sensitive to have a Force connection.
