Agreed. I don't think there's anything stated in canon or legends that reflect any real difference in power between these two versions of Dooku.

There's also another quote stating he got more powerful with Andeddu's holocron. RotS > AotC Dooku definitely.

It covers both sides of continuity, because the excerpt I posted is canon, and the excerpt you posted is Legends.

So any way you look at it, RotS Dooku > AotC Dooku.

The only difference is dark side knowledge.

It seems like a lot of people who should be past their prime (e.g. Yoda) likely grew between AotC and RotS from the war (even if RotS Yoda is likely still below his prime levels).
