Nightstalker serial killer captured

The original Nightstalker (not Richard Ramirez) has been captured after more than 4 decades.

While officials would not say what led them to seek DeAngelo's DNA, they said his name emerged in connection with the crimes last week.

But...I want to KNOW. That's the most important element of this whole case. What led them to seek his DNA and then match it against their criminal DNA database?

I thought the OG Nightstalker was Karl Kolchak?
