Did Kenobi violate the Jedi code...

With his feelings toward Satine? Seemed pretty attached IMO.

Sure, but Kenobi showed his dedication to the code by his handling of her death --

-- in contrast to Anakin's with Shimi.

Kenobi actually fell in love with Satine, so in that sense he did violate the Jedi Code.

However, even when Satine was murdered by Maul right in front of his eyes, Kenobi still didn't let his feeling for her sway him down a dark path -- he always stayed true to himself/the Jedi values... Which is pretty admirable, tbh.

Kenobi: "You can kill me, but you'll never destroy me. It takes strength to resist the dark side -- only the weak embrace it!"
Maul: "It is more powerful than you know!"
Kenobi: "And those who oppose it are more powerful than you'll ever be!"

Satine loved him (she said as much) but I don't think Kenobi ever admitted that he loved her. When Kenobi rescued her from jail in The Lawless, even her hug made him uncomfortable. 😂

But he was definitely attached, so I guess either way he broke the code.

He also admits that if he’d have left the order for her...

thanks guys 👆

Yeah, I was going to add this.

Love isnt forbidden. Attachments are. As Padawan Skywalker wisely explains to Padme before boning her.

And Kenobi saying hed leave the Jedi Order for Satine was a ruse. Although there may have been some truth in it, but thats speculation.

That was just Anakin's skewed interpretation of the rule. By definition, love(in the romantic sense) IS attachment.

Hence:
