World leaders do not respect Trump. They do, however, respect the office of the President of the United States. And the leader of the most powerful country in the world agreeing to meet with a dictator gives his rule legitimacy, even if they are both total buffoons.

This has been the warming for decades regarding NK, it's not just a "der Leftist!" thing.

So maybe you can answer: which countries opinion of Kim changed because of Trump? Name it, provide evidence, etc.
Trump himself has already called off military exercises between the US & South Korea, China is talking about easing economic sanctions and Asian outlets are reporting that this is already happening. Russia too has voiced something similar, as has South Korea. And no surprise, Little Kimmy is pushing for it too.

With his glitzy summit Trump has opened the gate for NK to reenter the international community and have "maximum pressure" taken off as a result, and if he fails to get anything in return, as he seems to be, then Kimmy played him, yeah. Plain and simple.

Adam didn't give me an answer. I asked for specifics. Do you deny this?

So Kim gets sanctions removed and gets to keep his missiles. Clearly a Trump win if you use your feelings.

TBF though, I don't think it's fair to just say 'Kim played Trump', Xi and Putin were likely in on it too as they all benefit here.

#MAGA #AtLeastHeTried

Lol it's the most pathetic thing in the world that people are butthurt over me saying "at least he tried".

I'm glad he tried. But what I hope? Is that you'll keep whining about it.

I mean, harsh but yeah, Trump pretty much flopped

But he tried tho

I mean the funny thing is he hasn’t even done that, he had a fancy summit, polished a few nobs, signed a useless bit of paper, then immediately declared victory.

Sadly, until Trump makes an intelligent effort to solve the NK problem he cannot have his brownie points, and #AtLeastHeTried is just another a way of covering up his incompetence.

Bingo.

To "try" one must actually do something that has at least some meaning and measure. eg If he got Kim to sign a formal/legal declaration of nuclear reduction and Kim turned around and broke the deal, sure, Trump would have at least tried then. What he did was just a song and dance with nigh zero substance except giving Kim everything he wanted.

Pretty much. 👆

I forgot that Trump Derangement Syndrome runs strong with a lot of folk here.

He tried doh

I'm glad we're in the process of getting those remains back 👆

Kim's a great and honorable man, the best. Compassionate too.

Lol when you can't even be glad we're getting these remains back...you're definitely suffering from TDS.

Spoiler alert: you can think Kim is shit and still be glad we're getting the remains back.

Strawman.
