i always thought they would kill many of the main characters and then when they were snapped back they could be played by different characters... since the did not dustify captain America I'm thinking not.
thanos should have less trouble maintain the gauntlet with even less heroes to contend with. still should have been more bads in the mix fighting for survival IMO. they'd probably have some kinda cheese where they have to convince him of 'another way' and he hands the gauntlet over
