Valkyrie vs Proxima Midnight

A shame Valkyrie magically disappeared from the ship. I would have loved to see her going against Proxima.

Who do you think would win in a 1v1?

Valkyrie curbs her

Proxima Midnight was beating Black Widow and Okoye until Scarlet Witch killed her. But the sheer fact that they could give her a fight means that she would likely get murdered by Valkyrie.

Speaking of Asgardian women, Sif could potentially still be alive. Based on behind-scenes-comments, the in-universe explanation for her being missing from Ragnarok was Loki (while pretending to be Odin) banished her (real world reason was scheduling conflicts). So, assuming she wasn't part of the half of the universe that got erased, she should still be out there somewhere.

Plenty of asgardians could still be alive, Thor actually said that Thanos only killed half of them

Well, their numbers are likely few, regardless. Because only a small number (comparatively) survived Ragnarok, who we actually see get on the ship, and in the final coronation scene. Then Thor's ship gets blown up, and he is the only person we actually see rescued. We also don't know how literal that comment was. I don't recall the Guardians detecting any other survivors. Or his comment could even be referring to the half that was left after previous events. And then half of the people in the universe got erased still after that, which potentially hit their numbers further.

So, while we can't pin an actual number on it, just going by the events of the last few films, it paints a rather bleak picture. I understand why though. Needed to weaken Asgard as a major player so that Infinity War could work out like it did.

Proxima wins. Close fight.

I actually just found this. So, Valkyrie and at least some of the refugees did escape:

But still, if Thor, Valkyrie, Sif and, for the most part, some civilians are all that are left at the moment, it's not looking great.

Loki (as Odin) in some kind of sick joke, decided to banish Sif to Earth to learn humility. He wiped her memory, removed her Asgardian powers (as an homage to the old Donald Blake storyline) and even cut her hair short.

However since Loki is not all that bad, he asked Heimdall to cover Sif's body in tattoos that would give clues to human disasters that would happen in the future, in the hopes that Sif might actually help out some humans... but only if Sif was smart enough to figure out the tattoos, which Loki figured she was not. Loki is twisted that way.

In a stroke of luck, Sif found herself working with the FBI who have found good use of her tattoos to solve crimes and terrorist attacks. Still completely unaware of her origins or cause of memory loss, yet somehow surprised that she's such a good fighter, she strives to figure out who she really is.

Also in some unintentional irony, she got nicknamed "Jane" by her friends.

Just some regular super assassin that Loki mind-f*cked so he believes he's Sif's brother.

Anyway as for this fight, Valkyrie wins decisively. I don't see BW and Okoye lasting long against Valkyrie the same way they did against Proxima.

Sorry, "regular super assassin" just sounds really weird.
