Griping about the only dominant minority representative. Always knew you were alt-right deep inside. 🙂

In all seriousness Dimitri beating Hawk was far worse, the guy's a wet napkin physically and never threw himself into the training because of his hypochondria.

Well Dimitri got a better understanding of the defensive ways of Miyago-Do and was able to use Hawk's aggression against him by the time they fought in the season 2 finale. I agree that Hawk should have won there, but since he was the bully at the time (physically at least), they made him lose as per bully karma fashion... Even though Dimitri was being a dick to Eli himself prior.

That does seem to be another trope about the show at least; no matter how strong or skilled one is or becomes, if they're the bully, they'll just lose most of the time. I think Tory should've been able to beat Sam at least once before the All-Valley too, but Sam the pampered princess overcame her adversary at every turn, including the All-Valley if you count the fact the referee was paid off by Silver for Tory to win.

Want to be Barnes was just standing there watching him instead of helping out earlier? 😂

Damn I wanted to know their DoJo new name they had to hand in !

I know they want to keep Cobra Kai as the villains but this was really Johnnys show, and he took on that name. I want him to reclaim it.

it's not realistic despite this being set in our real life world,

Ive always seen it as:

1) Fantasy

2) A show that doesnt take itself too seriously

I mean that Johnny come back at the end LMAO

Still have mixed feelings on the last season, and while this final followup season had some delays due to the earlier writer's strike, glad to feel invested in this again after seeing that short trailer.

hopefully the final season will be action packed

The first few episodes that are out definitely are.

I might say all the manufactured drama is becoming a bit much at this point, but I guess they had to pick back up on the dramatic flair after the earlier fall of Silver.

watched 1st episode of season 6

a bit too predictable

I've only watched eps 1 & 2 so far for the new season

don't really binge watch shows.

watched all 5 episodes

love the martial arts fights

the acting needs to improve

Peyton List seems to easily have the most range out of the younger actors, but the continued tragedy with her character Tory felt too rushed and condensed for the current last episode or so.

Ended up finishing it off last night

now have to wait until September for the next lot of episodes.

watched episodes 5 thru 7...

still love the martial arts of this

Finishing this again for now, while I sometimes get annoyed at the lack of a chill moment and there always having to be drama somehow (though I guess like Daniel LaRusso said, there's always going to be drama and you just have to decide how you handle it which is a tough life lesson), gotta hand it to them for always finding a way to top themselves in having a big fight where everyone gets involved, and I mean everyone.

All the factions at the tournament, and once again Kreese's actions having consequences, although he wasn't the only culprit this time. The Iron Dragons who were a step above both Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do in record and performance was also interesting, along with Lewis Tan or his character as their sensei.

Spoiler:
loved the battle royal in ep 10

I also didn't see that coming,

Spoiler:
Them saying a 3rd part coming

I'm ready for this show to be over, how much karate drama can people have. Still loved the early seasons.

look at your own risk

i've also seen alleged leaks on tiktok so take that for what you will..

The all out brawl fight ruined the momentum of the tournament people enjoyed up to that point. I guess you could say the tensions were building up to that kind of moment regardless, but I was still like "Really?".

Kwon could've been the nicest character on the show, but the moment he picked up the knife, it still would've been hard for me to feel that bad for whatever happened to him. To be fair to Kwon though, Kreese made him as unhinged as he was.

Yeah the brawl fight was too OTT.

And Kwon was wasted.
