Not to mention the Maw was extremely arrogant, which led to him getting tagged by his own attacks when the sorcerers used the portal counter, the Cloak of Levitation temporarily stealing Strange right out from under his nose while he was smack talking him, and his eventual downfall, when he was too busy focusing on telling Iron Man about how awesome his powers were to realise he was being played.
And yes, I am aware that Andrew also went down to distraction + sneak attack. But he was actively surrounded by cops who he was fighting off. Not just stroking his own ego.
I'm honestly leaning Maw.
I think his finesse actually leads to something I think is being overlooked, and that's that not only can Maw use his tactics more strategically, but I think he can wield more focused and concentrated power against Detmer, such as when he casually sliced that car in half, an attack more focused than say blunt force for example, so even if Detmer does have more raw strength, I think Maw would be able to direct more power at once at Detmer's body.
I also think the invulnerability of Detmer's shields is being overplayed a bit, since enough blunt force (Matt throwing himself into him, some collisions, etc.) is still able to throw him around, and obviously he doesn't always keep them maintained even when in dangerous situations, such as that cashier pulling the shotgun on him, or when Matt finally ended his life. Maw's getting shit for actively deflecting massive objects being hurled his way instead of tanking it, but I don't recall Detmer ever stonewalling that much momentum with his barrier at once.
Likewise, Maw's arrogance is a weakness, but so is Detmer's mental and emotional instability, and between someone whose arrogant but possesses finesse, strategy, and is specifically trained in combat and someone whose mentally and emotionally unstable without as much skill and tactical ability, I do think Maw's strategizing would be superior.

How can he direct more power at Andrew's body when Andrew can do things like this directly to objects (and Chronicle telekinetics can directly affect living things as well)?
He couldn't do that to people like Matt because of their TK shields, something Maw doesn't have. And Matt, who was at best Andrew's equal (though with less skill), could tank a direct impact with a bus which smashed him into the side of a building, without damage.

How is Maw much more powerful? Andrew is strong enough to casually fling 10+ ton objects around and was even making the ground itself start to shake towards the end. Plus, as mentioned previously, the range of objects he can affect isn't as limited as Maw's.
Also, people seem to forget that Andrew had enough skill and finesse himself to telekinetically yank individual teeth out of someone's mouth.
