Bishop strength level

how strong is bishop??? i remember a comics where he held sabretooth by the throat or something like that. the curely sabretooth with the black tank top in the days he was in the x mansion. how strong is bishop physically???

Comicvine says he can amp to unknown limits.
Guess he can fly, too, and doesnt need to shit.

The first scan of Bishop that Stilt posted, that version was consistently strong. Seemed as if he received a power/physical strength boost. The other versions wasnt close to being that strong.

but does he have a base strength level? when he doesnt absorb anything. in some of those scans, it doesnt seem like he absorbed something. it looks like its his base

They're not full scenes.

At base, he's supposed to be nothing more than a peak human at best, strength-wise... but I can see writers conveniently forgetting that, when they feel lazy.

Besides, his power is passive, he's always absorbing energy, even from shit like snowflakes:
