I can try and find scans, but the augmentation comment happened way back when Guy lost his GL ring, and got booted from the corp. It was his idea, having a fist fight, with the loser leaving.
Frankly, I didn't blame him. He was taking care of Corp business while Hal was "finding himself" in some middle aged funk. And Guys just supposed to step aside when Hal decides he's ready to start doing his job again?
He paid him back, though. After he got the Sinestro ring. By solving a case before Hal could. Jordan told Pieface to never, ever speak of it, to anyone. 😂
