And seeing as Rebels is quite new and it counts as Disney canon, I don't see them retconning or retelling it. Not so soon, anyway.

The only way this could be decent is if it revealed that the bitter and lonely Obi-Wan, in exchanged for his protection against the Empire and Tusken Raiders, forced Owen Lars to let him phuck his wife whenever he was in the mood, and it was Owen finally standing up to Obi and refusing to be bullied anymore that led to his being killed by the Empire.

If they made this they'd probably shoehorn in a gay love story.

Honestly they need to make movies about OTHER people. Star Wars is supposed to be about galaxies far far away, and yet we can't seem to escape movies about the same groups of people over and over and over.

I liked how R1 was all new characters whilst still working off OT nostalgia.

Vader was just a cool cameo and Tarkin was a nice surprise.

We find out that Mouse Droid and R2 Struck up a friend ship during the FIRST MOVIE and it was really Mouse Droid that turned off the shields around the exhaust vent that allowed the torpedo to hit the reactor. None of this Inbuilt BULLSHIT Nonsense that Rogue One tried to barf out on us. Mouse Droid. The Rebellions Most Unsung Hero!
